Hello and welcome to Broadway Children's Centre. Our new purpose built nursery opened in November 2006.

Within the nursery we have one large bright, spacious, base room for children from birth to 5 years, with children under two years having their own separate play area and sleep area. Our room is fun, bright and attractive to children, with areas for active play, eating, sleeping and quiet times.
Every day in Nursery is carefully planned to ensure your child receives the best learning opportunities in a safe, fun and caring environment whilst ensuring we meet the individual social, physical and emotional needs of each child. All equipment used is of a high quality and is especially designed and chosen for the benefit and stimulation of the children.
We receive nursery education vouchers for 3 and 4 year olds for 38 weeks per year for a maximum of 5 sessions per week. Each session lasts for 3 hours.
Within the setting we are happy to offer 'settling in sessions' where you and your child are welcome to attend nursery and to build up a relationship with the staff before deciding to leave your child.
Each child is allocated a Key Worker upon registration, and we ensure that you are given every opportunity to talk to your child's Key Worker and other Nursery staff. Good communications between staff and parents is vital, and you will be provided with written details on your child's progress on a weekly basis. Nursery staff will always be available to discuss your child's progress as and when requested. Parents' evenings are held regularly, which give you and your child's Key Worker the opportunity to discuss your child's progress, needs and development.
Monthly newsletters are produced for parents, which detail Nursery activities and updates, general information, updates on the Nursery staff team and any other information which you as a parent should be aware of.
Our priority in the Nursery is to work in partnership with a child's Parent/Carer, and we welcome visits from families to discuss their individual needs. We are here to serve you as a community and we are willing to help you in any way we can. Please do not hesitate to pop in and have a chat.
We look forward to welcoming you,
Michelle and staff.
