Hello and welcome to Queensway Children's Centre.  For the past year we have been providing a sessional creche service for the families of the Queensway Children Centre to support courses, training and activities as and when required.

As of January 2010 we will be opening a full day care nursery provision in the Queensway Children's Centre.   This nursery provision will be open all year round from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.  We shall be offering the free 15 hours funded care for children 3 and above.  The nursery is registered for 48 placed from 0-5 years.  We are at present in the process of recruiting fully qualified staff to deliver this service, to ensure Queensway families will receive the same excellent standard of care as all our other settings.

The Chidren's Centre has two spacious specially adapted rooms which will be used for the day care provision only, and fully comply with all the health and safety regulations expected of a day care setting.   One of the rooms will be specifically for the under twos while the other room has been set up for the older children.

There is access to a safe and secure ouitdoor play area with use also of the Centre's sensory room.   For Under Fives already manage the day care at Broadway and Central Children's Centre and we are looking forward to working together with the team at Queensway.
