Hello and welcome to Queensway Children's Centre Day Nursery.  We opened our day care facilities in February 2010, previously providing creche faciilities for the Children's Centre to support courses, training and activities as and when required.   The day nursery is open fifty one weeks a year, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, closing Christmas week, and provides 42 places for children 0-5 years.   The nusery also offers the 15 hours per week Government funding for children three yeas and above for 38 weeks of the year.

 

Queensway nursery is based within the Children's Centre and provides two specially adapted spacious rooms which are fully equipped and age appropriate.   The rooms are divided with a child friendly partition; one of the rooms is specifically for the under twos, whilst the other room has been set up for the older children.

The nursery has access to two safe and secure outdoor play areas.  One of which leads off the under twos room, and the second is located off the children's cloakroom.

Our staff are of varying ages with a wide range of childcare experiences and are constantly updating their qualifications.

At Queensway we see your children as individuals and it is our aim to provide a welcoming, homely environment where these individual needs can be fully catered for.   As a team we aim to work closely with all parents, ensuring that all children feel safe and happy within the environment whilst their daily needs are being met.
