Staff and children at the For Under Fives day nursery in Goole, Woodlands Day Nursery, celebrated after receiving a 'delightful' Ofsted report in August 2009.
In her report, Ofsted Inspector Rachael Flesher graded the nursery as 'good' in all 14 areas inspected, after she visited the nursery, which cares for 90 children in the grounds of Goole Hospital.
In the inspection, Ms Flesher stated: "Overall the quality of the provision is good. The manager effectively communicates with an ambitious vision, shared by the whole team, who strive to achieve the best outcomes for children." The nursery's leadership and management was also praised as the report reads: "Strong leadership and management ensures effective systems and partnerships are in place for identifying and planning for the individual needs of children." It continues "Staff work extremely well together as a team offering an enjoyable and challenging experience across the six areas of learning, tailored to the children's individual nees and abilities."
The nursery was also praised in it's quality and standards it offers the children. Nursery manager Geraldine Calvert said "Woodlands Day Nursery is delighted with the recent Ofsted report. My staff have all worked very hard to make Woodlands the successful nursery it is and the report just proves that."
