For Under Fives - Leading Childcare Provider - Havelock Day Nursery

Hello and welcome to Havelock Day Nursery. We are based on site at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. Although we work in partnership with the NHS we are open to the general public.
Our nursery has been open for 13 years and in 2003 we moved into a new purpose built nursery. Our hours of opening are 06.30am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year excluding bank holidays.

Our nursery is registered with OFSTED and we have recently completed an excellent inspection. The nursery has also achieved the NDNA Quality Counts Award. The nursery is registered for 15 babies from birth to 2 years, 40 children aged between 2 and 5 years and 8 children from 5 - 12 years in our out of school club facility.

Our staff are of varying ages with long-standing service in the nursery, who constantly update their knowlege and skills with training that is provided either externally or inhouse. At Havelock we see your child as an individual and as such we liase closely with parents and carers to meet your child's individual needs. All activities, whether free play or structured, are planned to develop your child's learning and to enable them to grow into confident individuals.

We receive nursery education vouchers for 3 and 4 year olds for 38 weeks per year for a maximum of 5 sessions per week. Each session lasts 2 1/2 hours.
